Finally Forty

I'm just a few days away from the BIG FOUR ZERO!!! It almost feels like a dream because there's simply no way I'm 40 years old. I feel 27.

I started running in August as a way to cope with stress.

But nothing seems to help when I think of my precious baby sister who departed this earth on February 26th, 2010.

She took her own life. My sister and I both have battled Bipolar Disorder. It's an ugly, ugly disease.

I manage with the help of medication, group therapy (I go to AA) and in the end, my strength ultimately comes from God Above.
